STEFANO LUBIANA TASTING FRIDAY 20 JULY
The glorious blossoming of Tasmanian wine over the past decade and a bit has been fascinating to watch. It has grown from an island – Australia’s coolest-climate state – with most of its wines contract-made using fruit from small growers, into one with serious investment from mainland heavyweights; the dull safety of contract making a thing thankfully almost gone. The Lubianas have been there to watch the metamorphosis, but they have been part of a small collective that, in the early days, did the whole shemozzle themselves. Which is why, I guess, the brand’s reputation is so stellar. It’s certified biodynamic, wild yeasts, small batch and wonderful.
Join us around the Craft tasting table from 4.30 – 7pm. All very welcome …
