Finally, the Beer Gods have smiled down upon us … the beer that is Feral Fanta Pants Imperial Red IPA has made an appearance in bottles. Feral Brewing have produced this spectacular brew pretty much exclusively for their brewery door in the Swan Valley. On rare occasions, kegs of this nectar have made their way onto the taps of the better beer venues of the Eastern Seaboard.
This beer is one of the most outstanding examples of this style produced on our fair shores. It’s a big, boozy brute of a thing! Packed with hops, hops, hops and more hops. And yet it is beautifully balanced, aromatic and dangerously drinkable. The big question in these situations is, “How does it translate in the bottle?” Is it as good as it is off tap?” The answer is “You Bloody Betcha!” The Feral team have managed to make the draught to package transition seamless. It looks every bit as spectacular out of the bottle as it does off the tap. It’s on the shelves at Craft now … get some while you can!
