A pair of Imperial beauties from Mornington Peninsula Brewery.
First cab off the rank is the inaugural release in cans of The Continuous Daryl Imperial IPA. Previously only available in kegs & in very limited numbers. The original brew was a collaboration between the Alehouse Project & MPB. Once the wort had reached boiling point it was then continuously hopped with Amarillo hops for the 60 minute duration of the boil. A little like the famous Dogfish head 60 minute, 90 minute & 120 minute IPA’s. The result is a brew with a hefty malt backbone and a trio of hops in Sorachi, Mosaic with Amarillo being the star. A mighty brew and truly delicious stuff!
Also from MPB, we have the current, very fresh batch of their Imperial IPA. As always, it is far from disappointing.
